Disney World advertises its golf courses with the phrase, “Happiest Place on Turf.” Disney’s iconic customer service is evident at its golf courses. Disney World has four courses presently. The Palm and Magnolia championship courses once held PGA tournaments. There is a 9 hole walking course, Oak Trail. The fourth course is Lake Buena Vista. I fondly remember the old Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge golf courses. Those are now renamed as part of the Four Seasons and Golden Oak property and limited to resort guests or residents. Palm and Magnolia are the nicest and most challenging, and most popular courses. I hadn’t played the Palm course in many years and got a tee time. The course is beautifully maintained, even better than I remember. There is a nice combination of courses of different lengths, and water and sand frequently come into play trying to reach the fairway or green. There is usually wildlife on the course, especially in the morning. The morning I played, I saw a small group of turkeys.
