Jupiter Country Club

I don’t belong to a country club but have have had the opportunity to play several clubs over the years with friends and colleagues. I was able to play the Jupiter Country Club in Florida a couple of times in February 2024. Enjoying the Florida sunshine on a golf course during winter is always a luxury to northeast residents. I particularly enjoyed the Jupiter Country Club. The course can stretch to 7257 yards but with 5 different tees you can find a comfortable challenge for any golfer. As with most country club communities, the holes wind among the homes and typical water lining most holes as is typical in Florida. Houses are rarely in the line of play. Also, the wide forgiving fairways only bring the water into play on a few holes. The signature par 5 16th hole is challenging with a green tucked close to the water and several bunkers.

There is an excellent driving range and practice area. The course was in excellent condition and well maintained. Sand traps were plentiful but well maintained. The greens were smooth and relatively fast that makes for good putting. The hospitality from staff is great and speed of play and makes for an enjoyable relaxing golf experience. One could get used to playing golf in this layout and environment.
