Others are about something entirely different—sunshine, palm trees, ocean breezes, and time to enjoy the rest of your day. That’s why I call my round at Jupiter Dunes simply: Vacation Golf.

Jupiter Dunes is a par-three course, but don’t let that description fool you. While shorter in yardage, it offers plenty of beauty and just enough challenge to keep your attention. Each hole presents a thoughtful test of distance control and accuracy, with strategically placed water hazards that demand focus without overwhelming the fun.

The setting is classic South Florida. Palm trees sway gently in the breeze, the sky seems endlessly blue, and the air carries that subtle hint of salt from nearby beaches. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, take in the surroundings, and truly enjoy the game.

One of the best features of a par-three course is time. You can complete a satisfying round in a fraction of the hours required for a full-length course. That leaves plenty of room in your day for the beach, lunch at a waterfront café, or simply relaxing in the sunshine. It’s golf that fits beautifully into a vacation schedule.

The greens and sand traps are well-kept, the layout is attractive, and the water features add both scenic charm and strategic interest. The staff is friendly. There are no tee times to require booking in advance, just show up and play. Precision matters here—club selection and distance control are key—but the atmosphere keeps everything light and enjoyable.

Jupiter Dunes reminds us that golf doesn’t always have to be long to be memorable. Sometimes the perfect round is one that pairs a handful of crisp iron shots with warm sunshine and the promise of an afternoon by the water.

Some golf experiences are about grinding through a difficult 18-hole championship layout.
