I spent a couple of days with family in Naples, Florida. There was some time for golf. Naples is home to nearly 100 golf courses, but it is not a common destination for golf trips since most of the courses are private. There are some excellent courses in the area but they also have high prices and full tee times in the high-season winter months. I did find a nice course that met the criteria of a good course, a convenient location, and a fair price. That course is Quail run. The course is a par 70 that only stretches to 5200 yards. However, the course is a nice challenge with narrow fairways and plenty of sand and water. The course does have memberships but also open tee times for guests. It is an enjoyable way to enjoy the Florida sunshine.
