North Shore Golf Course was my first golf outing after arriving in Orlando. I played this course for the first time in 2022 and recalled what a nice layout it is. The name of the course is a little misleading. North Shore sounds like it is on a central Florida lake’s shore. But the course is near the shores of Lake Hart; instead, homes rest on the lake shore rather than the course. This misnomer does not mean the course lacks water hazards; there are several. The holes have great variation in length and shape. Waste areas and tall grasses provide many hazards to avoid. The fairways, tees, and greens are lush and nicely maintained. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. This is a nice round of golf in the Florida sunshine, I just wish my driving was more consistent.
